That was a great episode; I totally did not see the twist about "the Djinn" coming. That was a really good plot twist. I was also legitimately surprised when Red left her and the journal behind.

I was surprised, and disappointed, that Pee Wee betrayed Red/Dembe like that. Wasn't his introduction in S2 about him pretending to betray Red only be truly loyal all along?

^Yep. So, that's kind of his thing, I guess.

Poor Dembe! He engineers his own escape, using nothing more sophisticated than a pointed spoon, only to get shot by Pee-Wee Herman!

This really was Red's ep all the way; at this point, Liz is nothing more than eye-candy and Ressler & Co. are looking more incompetent with each outing. I can't wait to see what's next.

Tom's loyalty to Liz is cool and not entirely unexpected. They'll be back in the sack before you know it.

    ;)

They may have jumped the shark. Either Liz continues on the run with the FBI looking increasingly incompetent or there is some kind of reset which is ridiculous considering who she killed.

This show jumped the shark in the pilot.

    Just go with it.

I keep wondering how long this Fugitive Keen storyline is going to last. Is everything going to eventually go back to normal? Will she be an FBI Agent again? She shot the Attorney General. Will she be a "freelancer" agent who works with the FBI team? Or will she just keep being Red's partner?

I like the way the show is now with her and Red as fellow fugitives.

Boy, Tom was really bad-ass there at the end! I also loved how Red made the Director squirm during their phone conversation. I'm actually enjoying this 'Fugitive' style storyline, though I wonder if they can stretch it out for the whole season.

Is it just me, or does Ressler vacillate between seemingly to grasp what is really going on and being a complete douche? OK, I get it, he doesn't like Tom, but I mean really, shouldn't he have given Cooper a listen? Instead no, he heads back and bangs Navabi when he should've been grilling the hell out of Karokurt. His behavior is just all over the place.

Hopefully, he'll pull his head out of his ass and get back on track to help Red bring down the Cabal.

EW...Navabi & Ressler...just EEW. The whole scene just grossed me out. Ressler can be SUCH a douche sometimes that I really, really don't like him.

Navabi should be with Aram; he's the one who loves her and he doesn't SUCK at his job like Ressler.

Agreed. Next to Red, Aram is my favorite character on the show.

    I love your avatar, BTW.

^Thanks. It was made for me last year by about three different posters here.

I think the biggest problem with the show is that very few of the characters are all that interesting or likable. Elizabeth Keen is supposed to be the main character but frankly, I don't give two beans what happens to her. She bores me silly. I just want to see Red being his cool, creepy-in-a-fun-way, badass self and I want to see Dembe, Aram and Mr.Kaplan help him. That's it. Red making one phone call is more memorable than an entire episode with all the FBI characters, Elizabeth and Tom combined.

Perhaps she was impregnated with alien DNA by the Cabal!

This is all begging for an X-Files crossover. Have "The Director" take a bullet from, and replaced by, the Smoking Man.
