I was gonna say at least he bought me dinner, but turns out it was this other Nick guy! I feel so used.

(Actually kidding I knew it was Nick G. Still miss those bagels in the morning, the ones we get in the UK just aren't as nice).

It sounds like the shoot was in New York. If so, don't be too hard on your UK bagels. New York is the bagel capital of the world! (Yes, I'm a NY local yokel). H&H Bagels cost much too much, but they are much too good! (Their main bakery is also across the West Side Highway from the Intrepid Museum...)... Not that that has anything whatsoever to do with Polaris... (I love bagels...)

The shoot was in Fort Washington, MD but the bagels came from Silver Spring - which ain't New York, but I like it.

If it worked half as well on women I wouldn't have time to be posting now.

Everything looks great so far Dennis, Nick and the others involved. It is also cool that you will not be under the legal restrictions of Paramount since it is not Trek. So many more options...

There is that. I also like not having to worry about whether something in the story matches previous continuity...

    Unless you make another one...

Then we'll scrutinize you with a fine-toothed comb.

If it doesn't exactly match the recorded canon in the Polaris Fan Wiki I'll eventually create... oh, it'll get ugly.

Anything that happens later is what I planned all the time.

    Really.

    Uh-huh.

    Nice!
Finally a chance to see something like the heavy EVA suits TNG never showed on-screen.

    1. Hey! That looks familiar!

    2. They need these on Futurama.

    3. It looks like the shoulders might tuck into the slots on the body ... do they, and if so, why?

In this version the shoulders move on tracks within the slots, and rotate vertically.

Did you fully rig this model or are you just winging it as needed?
