    In terms of spread, butter with strawberry jam.
    In terms of snack meals of '<item> on toast', baked beans. Closely followed by poached egg. Sometimes, I have both.

    Nice bit of Scottish chedder, sliced up garlic clove, and a good splash of worcestershire sauce, then under the grill for a few min's to melt it.

    MMmMMmMmMmmMMmmmmMMmmM.

    Oooh, another one I used to have a lot when I was still in Italy is the classic italian bruschetta: toasted bread, then you rub garlic on it, and you add a bit of olive oil and a pinch of salt. So simple and so delicious. :drool:
