Just to let you all know, I'm not going to be a happy man this Thanksgiving.. http://www.newswest9.com/story/2409...ed-in-four-vehicle-accident-in-andrews-county My oldest boy, Ryan, was killed last night in an auto accident near his home.. I miss him already, and knowing I'll never see him again hurts me to the core.. Prayers please..and good thoughts from those of you who don't pray.. I'm feeling like I can never celebrate this holiday again..
{{{{{{{MANT}}}}}}} I am so sorry. I know this is very little comfort but at least he didn't have to suffer. Who knows what bad things might have crossed his path later in life? He might have gotten cancer or been abducted or tortured in a war. At least he was spared those possibilities. Does he leave family besides yourself? GF/wife, children? Is there anything we can do to help them? And - most importantly - is there anything we can do to give you a little comfort?
My family had something similar happen about 10 years ago. It turned the holiday bittersweet. We set aside time to remember them (the good times) and still are thankful for what we have. I'm not saying that it will be easy or that you will have the same experience, but it has happened before to other people. I'm sorry, MANT! Your family was in my thoughts for this Thanksgiving day. I hope you can find some comfort and peace eventually. My thoughts and well wishes are with you today and into the future. I hope you have people around you that can help keep his memory alive.
I never expected anything like that when I opened the thread. That is just devastating. My condolences to you and your family and your son's friends. I'm very sorry.
