Now this will be make that book interesting...especially with Jeff Lemaire writing. Mike McKone on art is interesting.

 

Jeff Lemire on JLC sounds great. He is knocking it out of the park with Animal Man.

I thought as much the first time I saw him.

 

Yeah, I don't know how I could have missed it but it seems obvious now lol.

 

I really really like to try to give creators the benefit of the doubt, but I don't know if I can get over this one.
Seriously, WTF were they thinking here?
My only exposure to the character so far has been in Superman: TAS and Young Justice, but even that is enough for me to know that this is all wrong.

 

A back to basics approach?

 

I'd never seen that version before. I've read a fair amount about him on the web, and I've only ever seen the big biker version of the character.

 

Seriously if you read the response by the writer, she pretty much says it's not in the book:

When this kind of stuff happens I always feel sorry for the people like her, who were either not involved or barely involved, but still end up taking the majority of the abuse.

 

They're remaking making Married with Children.

Jude Law has been cast as Al Bundy.

I'll only watch if Christina Hendricks plays Peg.

This has got to be some gimmick storyline like Sinestro as Green Lantern...

This makes:

Justice League
Justice League Dark
Justice League International
Justice League America
Justice League Canada

so far.

 

Why? The League has been "of America", "Europe", "International", "America" and "Antarctica" in the past. What make's Canada so weird?. Lemire hinted it was part of a larger storyline.

 

@theenglish..."Justice League of America" is being renamed "Justice League Canada". They're not adding a new book, and this has some kind of repercussions from Forever Evil so maybe the villains force this team out of America for some reason.

 

Right, renamed less than a year into the series as a gimmick to boost sales. Not a good sign.
