I remember someone once told me they snapped off some usually discarded part of a vegetable in the supermarket and only put the part they would be eating in the bag to pay for. I was scandalized. That was a long time ago and I've since realized many of us have things we do that we know we shouldn't and we really don't care.

    So here's mine:

I put any damn thing I like in my recycle bins and cover the top with newspaper.

I don't even bother to recycle.

Let's see...I waste time online at work and bill the client.

As long as you don't put the new roll on top of the old tube so it sits at an angle..

My husband is notorious for not drinking milk past the due date, however, ifI give him cereal or whatever, I will pour the 'expired' milk in the bowl unbeknownst to him.

I bought bagels and cream cheese from Einstein bagels the other day, and forgot to have them charge me for the cream cheese. I didn't go back and pay for it.

The first time the Cheerios box was empty, I put a bag of "Rollin' Toasted Oats" in the box, and no one has noticed the difference. It has been done this way now for more than 6 months. I have saved a lot of money, and no one is the wiser.

I knew someone who gradually replaced her family's milk with at least 50% powdered milk and water mixed in. They never noticed.

So.. do you surreptitiously dispose of the inferior fake Cheerios box?

At some point you may have to get a new Cheerios box in case they notice they have been eating out of the old box for 6 months.

    "Wow, these Cheerios really last!"

    And..

I have a library book that was due 24 years ago. A friend of mine borrowed it and then left it at my house. Every now and then I show it to her and we laugh like idiots. It's a photo book about Bhutan.

Just for the hell of it, have you figured what the overdue fines would be by now?

No.. I once had 84.00 in fines. That was the last time I ever set foot in a library. I've heard they don't do fines in some places now.

    Better out than in.

I found $60.00 hanging out of an ATM and kept it. No one was anywhere around but I didn't turn it in to the bank.
