    No the angry warrior got his behind thrown in the brig for the rest of the trip because being drunk is not the same as saying "yes" and if "yes" is not said we are talking about rape.

    The producers wanted something on the ship to articulate. I offered up sketches of flaps on the nacelles, radiators, loading ramps, etc., and in the end they settled on the pivoting pylons. I just drew the plans and told the folks at Tony Meininger's shop to do what they could. Most of the bending shots ended up being CG, IIRC, as the motor/gear bits complained.

    Not to mention that with the multiple passes needed to film the physical model, getting the articulation to match on each pass would have been a nightmare.
