Day of the Doctor certification and three different runtimes

    Well, it looks like the BBC are about to fuck us with double-dipped alternate versions of the 50th, and especially the TV viewers. There are three different versions! a 76, 80, and 85 minute cut - the latter for the cinema screenings, the other two for home viewing (presumably 80 for Blu-Ray and 76 for us DVD-watching luddites...)

    The 85 minute cut has 10 minutes of behind-the-scenes footage, as I understand it.

    If that's all, then fine, but what of the 80-minute cut, I wonder?

    That's a good question. Perhaps it's a four-minute "Previously on Doctor Who..." intro.

    So... the BD won't feature related special features? I don't get this.

    It could still do, but any special features would be classified seperate to the main feature on a Disc

    As long as the version on TV isn't any shorter than the one in cinema or disc, I'm happy
