    "Meditations..." is the book Garak gives to Julian in The Wire. It's a story set in the future, where Cardassia and Qo'noS are at war.

    And Miles loaned Odo a copy of the (real) novel "I, The Jury" which he is seen reading in Profit and Loss.

    Which may be the only indication in canonical ST that people in the future still read science fiction.
