I don't know what the Story of Ricky is, but I knew you were referring to the drill scene in First Contact. I've also seen the episode of Nip/Tuck where the actor who plays Phlox wanted the doctors to amputate his healthy leg because he had a bizarre condition that made him think his leg wasn't his, like the opposite of phantom limb syndrome.

OP here. Actually, it's more about how funny is how they straight-faced an explanation for the sexy catsuit. Also I love question marks. It went offtopic, apparently for the better. But if anyone would care to come back on topic, fine by me. Of course everyone likes to think about naked models.
Because I don't don't know who "Seve of Nine" is, I've just been assuming you meant "Seven of Nine" but considering how randomly typos can hide what people really mean, there's every chance in the world that you could have meant to write "Steve of Nine".
From what I understood, the silver high-necked outfit from her initial appearances in Season Four was medical equipment to help regenerate her skin. Her various low-necked outfits in various shades were just the clothes she chose to wear.
Do you think she eventually started designing her own clothes? (Yes the Doctor designed her first wardrobe, but either he continued to dress her, or she took command of her life.) Because civilian-wear everywhere else in the Federation is not looking like what she wore.
Seven seems quite uninterested in the artistic and while she will sometimes acknowledge something is pleasing to look at she feels the same way about astrometrics. That suit is comfortable and serviceable to her, and makes her feel enclosed and held together the way Borg armor does. Wearing something with extraneous fabric flapping about is not going to be something she wants to do outside of dressing up like a real human being and doing human lessons. She probably does design her own suits to the extent of specifying fabric and colour choices.
Actually my favorite Seven look that she ever had on the show was when she wore a Starfleet uniform ("Relativity"). Then again, that's also the scene where the very married Lt. Carey hits on her, so...dammit.
was thinking how similar what Jeri wore was to what Jolene wore. Seven copied T'pol's wardrobe? Why the frakk was she wearing 22nd century Vulcan military attire? Was she trying to passively-erotically lure one of the Vulcans on Board? Were they gifts from one of the Vulcan's on Board?
You know it's hilarious that the Doctor is so high brow in his mind and yet when you see his fantasies come to life it's pure pulp.
