They are certain it came from a 777, but they "can't be 100% sure it came from that 777".

Judicial investigators know the part comes from a Boeing 777.

A source close to the investigation told CNN, "What we know so far is that it is for sure from a 777. We know that this is the only 777 that is missing in that specific region.
It had to come from MH370, or it was placed there.

Since this was a French island that obviously narrows down the list of suspects.
