If they have to show it until he ends up as bad as he did in the books then prepare for a few hundred more torture scenes.

^ With only 3 episodes left, it's looking like he'll be tortured for the entire 3rd. Season!

^ Actually, I think the only reason for the two women in the torture scene was HBO reminding everyone "Hey, we're HBO, we can show full frontal!" Just gratutious T&A, didn't add anything to the scene.

Also: Since when was the "landingstrip" introduced to Westerous? ;)

It worked in the context of the scene though. Showing him exactly what he would never have again. Far from their worst use of T&A.

This season has been really disappointing. Too much screen time has been wasted on pointless and boring stories, such as Theon's torture and Brandon's mind-numbingly boring adventure to the wall, and Sansa's sleep-inducing stay at King's Landing. Until recently Jaime's and Brienne's story also fell into that category. They should forego any more scenes involving Bran's and Theon and concentrate on the more interesting stories and characters.
This episode was a bit unusual in that it covered almost every story, which was good but would've been better had they excluded anything involving Sansa, Theon and Bran.

You say that now, but it's all going to pay off, and then you'll facepalm your past self.

Bran is going to be 6-foot-five by next season.

I don't remember any conflict between Osha and the marsh kids that are on Bran's wall journey in the books. I'm thinking they added that conflict because absolutely nothing else happens. I remember it as being quite tedious.

The landing strip annoyed me. When the heck is pubic hair going to come back in style.

It would be if Lady Shaughten Kerleigh of Ladygarden (sigil: a beaver, rampant) had her way.

That's probably the most groanworthy thing I've ever posted. And that's saying something.

Thousands of years have gone by.

Evolution could have seen all the girls capable of sprouting a full pubal lawn, have gone to the weigh side unable to find a "husband", which means that all the children that are born are most likely to have naturally occurring landing strips.

    Or

There was some Genegineer fetishist back in the day before man fell to barabrism who just said "No more Bush on my watch" and sliced off this and that from chromosones and atoms until woman kind foreverafter met his personal bald ideal.

No you're right, it could have just as easily been a lesbian Genegineer.

Why complain about that but not the fact that they have cleanly shaven legs and underarms? Why is this more unbelievable?

Re: Game of Thrones 3.7 - "The Bear and the Maiden Fair" - Rate & disc

IIRC, there wasn't any conflict in the books, because Osha split off from Bran's group and took Rikken west, so that if anything happened to one group, it would increase the chances of there still being a male Stark heir alive in the other group. Can't remember if they were eventually headed for Riverrun or some other location with sympathetic Stark bannermen. Bran went to the wall with only Hodor and the Reeds. As of Book Five, neither Osha nor Rikken are seen again, unless I missed something.

It's all fantasy, isn't it, so I say bring on the talking merkins. And I assume Theon loses his dick?

Entire season feels a bit treading water, but still better than nearly everything else around.

Oh yes! I forgot about Rikken despite him being on screen.. and the marsh kids were with them from the beginning, not joining later so the conflict free time went on for a while before they split off. And yes I can't remember anything about them in Book 5. I wonder how book 6 is coming along

Because I like bush. And I don't care about legs and underarms. It's all about me.

Agreed- it's as boring as mud. They should have just had Theon completely disappear for a season- THAT would have been interesting.
