So adorable!!!!!! Waht fun! another poster her Kommander made his own chain mail too - you'll have to track him down - unless of course the last thing you need is more chain mail in your life! awww! so cute! still debating between my old standby the star trek dress and Arwen of LoTR . . .
incorrect. she looks sexy. i am both disturbed and aroused at the same time. disturbed by being turned on by a cartoon mouse and aroused because she's HOT!
Last year I was my childhood baseball hero, Will Clark. My girlfriend was a '20's flapper girl. The year before that I was Harvey Dent/Two-Face. I won $200 in a costume contest at the bar I went to on Halloween and scared the crap out of a bunch of club-goers.
I'm going as Thelma and my friend is going to be Louise ... The boots are so awesome. Totally skanky high-heeled cowgirl boots - $5 at a thrift shop! I'm borrowing a gun to tuck into my belt, and there will of course be an excess of eye makeup under the cool sunglasses. Last year my kids and I went to the local comics shop as DC comics characters ... my kids kicked ASS as Rorshach and the Silk Spectre from The Watchmen! I was Zatanna, minus the fishnet stockings ...
Thanks! I'm really glad my kids have inherited my love of costuming. My husband has never gotten into it, but the rest of us have made some amazing ones over the years!
No pic, but I may do what I usually do, and dress up in my old Rugby kit and raid my wife's makeup bag to enhance bruises and black eyes.. I used to wrap electrician's tape around my head like I used to do in my playing days to protect my ears, but haven't bothered the last couple of times. I've stopped costuming up at work as I got bitten by that once a couple years ago. I showed up to work and ended up having to do an interview with a local tv station about a fire that had popped up. So imagine my scramble to remove said makeup and find a hat to cover my (purposly) touseled hair. Had to make them promise to shoot me from teh chest up so my shorts, socks and cleats didn't show up on camera. LOL
DoubleOh, omg! You're killing me! Those pics of you as little dude Doubleoh are adorable! LOVE the Superman one! Who were you in 2008 (i don't recognize it)? In the 2005 pic you are drop dead gorgeous. I totally have a crush on you in a non creepy cougar way*.....and i have always loved the picture you use to use as your avatar....in the suit... *ok, maybe it is creepy.
In 2008 I was Dr. Tobias Funke, of Arrested Development fame. Before you ask, yes, later on at the party I did wear the never-nude cut-offs; no, I will not be posting those pics.
