Hoping to see more Star Trek Hot Wheels this year (starships that is, not the road vehicles with Trek paraphernalia on the sides!).

In both larger and smaller (1:64) scales as well.

Update: I notice that the NCC 1701 USS Enterprise is listed in the 2015 HWs line, as part of a subline called Space Team:

I'd guess that Enterprise is just a reissue of the 2013 "1:64" size.

    ^^^ Yep - I'm guessing the same.

What could be intriguing, is that it may have a different paintjob perhaps - or (even more intriguing, and probably less-likely), could we get the refitted / upgrading 1701 seen at the end of STID (with the longer / wider impulse section on the primary saucer)...

    [sigh!] dreams are free!!!! ;)

I'd just be happy to be able to find them! I found a couple here and there but it was tough.

I'd like to see a model kit of the Kelvin....

Not that it'd happen, it took this long for a Kit of the new Enterprise to come out....

Still it'd be nice to see one anyway....

Hey, I'm just gonna point you guys in the direction of the Eaglemoss die cast Starship Collection. It's true that some of the work is a little off-kilter but no more than I've seen from Hotwheels and Playmates. Their model of the 2009 Enterprise notably lacks some details but it's a great model nonetheless. If you're looking for some cool models--and since Hotwheels seems to be abandoning the line, it's a great option.

Their upcoming D4 looks especially tasty.

    Hi Peeps

I've just ordered the Hot Wheels STID BOP - from Fishpond - using a credit I recently earned! :D Looking very forward to it arriving!

Hot Wheels has some very nice Star Wars ships they thought enough to put in good packaging--and Wal Mart carries those--but not the trek ships.

    Errr.

    Hey Peeps!

Yesterday, I recieved the Mattel STID BOP, from Fishpond.co.nz!

I had a credit with the store, so only paid approx $2.00 (NZD) for it! [IMG] Nothing better than getting a ST ship for a bargin price!

Gotta say, it's a great BOP - and has a lot of nice detailing. The pivoting wings are reasonably well done (as a mechanism) and the colourscheme is not nearly as garish as it first appears. The 'salmon pink' markings don't ruin the look whatsoever, and I quite like the bronzed colouring between the fins / ribs of the engine.

It does indeed appear more insectoid, than bird (By earth standards), but overall, the design has grown on me quite a bit: It may not be Eaglemoss quality, but it's got it where it counts! [IMG]

I'm extremely glad I picked up this particular STID diecast - which now only leaves me with the USS Excelsior to acquire in this wave.

I like the concept behind the color, it's supposed to be the color of Klingon blood (per STVI).

Nah, no preference - and not seriously looking either.

If an Excelsior happens, it happens - but no biggie if not :)

I just hope they do more ships--and promote them better.
