I did like the commentary last night on ESPN, which discussed the reasons why Incognito has been suspended and not simply cut from the team: he's in the final season of his contract, and if he was cut the Dolphins would have to pay out his remaining contract. But since the league has a policy in place for suspended players due to improper activities (with a 4 game unpaid suspension), they can keep him on the suspended list and he forfeits his salary. So it ends up being cheaper for them to just keep him on the team and not pay him.

Different tactic, same result. He's not playing games, AND he's not getting paid. Plus, since he's suspended, no other team would be able to pick him up off waivers, not that any teams would be willing to sign up for the negative PR right now.

I'm not shedding any tears for Incognito, he's a piece of crap. Anyone who deliberately tries to injure other players doesn't belong in the NFL. It's brutal enough as it is without assholes like Incognito or Ndamukong Suh deliberately trying to injure people.

First time I'm seeing the Seahawks this year, love the way they're playing, very impressive.

Luck had his worst game of his career today. Absolutely shocking.

    And about time, too!

The whole team played incredibly well. Touchdowns on offense, defense, and special teams. Luck gave us the ball 4 times, and was sacked 3 times. And the Rams held Indy to 18 yards rushing on 14 carries.

I know Indianapolis is not the same without Wayne, but this is still the biggest win of the year.

Bloodbath in the Superdome. Not only did Brees gouge the Cowboys already banged up D, but they also found a way to injure three more of our defensive starters, including Sean Lee. No bueno.

The Packers looked awful Sunday. With a QB just signed off the practice squad, I didn't expect the offense to hum, but I had hoped the defense would at least show up. At least Seneca Wallace is out- never understood why they signed him in the first place. With a full week of practice this week, maybe Scott Tozien will make for a semi-adequate replacement QB.

I really hope Aaron Rogers is healed before the Packers-Vikings matchup in two weeks.

Well, it's official. This season was "Super Bowl or Bust" season for the Texans. They are definitely a bust.

Case Keenum is looking OK though. Better than Schaub.

Now we just have to keep the wheels from falling off with the Packers Rodgers-less.

That wouldn't have happened if Ed Reed was still around. But he couldn't reach it from the far end of the Texan's bench.

I think it's really irresponsible that they aren't giving more coverage to the Incognito incident.

ok, so I can't let that go with a straight face
