Polaris is the brightest star in the constellation Ursa Minor. It is very close to the north celestial pole making it the current northern pole star.A bright star at the end of the handle of the Little Dipper in the constellation Ursa Minor. Polaris is 1° from the north celestial pole and it remains in the same location in the sky all year, making it a useful navigation tool. Polaris is actually a double star with a faint companion star.

Hey, Dennis, I notice that the board is closed over at United Worlds. Will it be open at some point in the near future?

Probably sometime in the next couple of weeks. I'm sorting a few things out in terms of what's the best use of resources right now.

For those who attend the annual "Farpoint" convention in Baltimore, Maryland...we've been asked to give a presentation about the movie. I hope, but can't guarantee today, that we'll have a scene from the show or at least some footage ready for that.

Of course, if we don't we'll be stuck up there doing shadow puppets on the wall.

If you need any free hosting or forums or sites built I can always help you there. It's my bread and butter after all. :)

    Now that's just plain awesome.

How in the world did you create the top display of the main console? Static image, post work or rear projection?

It's practical lighting, put together by a very clever electronics guy named Carl Leonard.

    Hate to nit-pick...but it's not a crane shot if there's not a crane. It's a high-angle. :)

    As to Gina...yep!
