The sound in Trek 3

Hello all!
I was watching The Search For Spock on IFC and noticed something about the sound. When they were at the temple with Spock's body, I noticed the echo whenever T'Lar (?) spoke. It's been a while since I watched this movie and didn't remember the echo. In fact, the two people I was watching it with both commented on it. So I was wondering if this was part of the original release or was it added later?

I remembered it from earlier.

I remember it when she said "Ben Duvall NaVOON"...; or whatever it was she said.

I've always recalled an echo, especially noticeable when the loud speak (examples: "Who is the keeper of the katra? ... "I choose the danger.") contrasts with McCoy's much quieter, "Hell of a (helluva?) time to ask."
