    Aquaman
The Flash (end of current arc, which means the last time I'll pull The Flash for now.)

I may pull Batman, Inc. for the "event."

No idea, but it reminds me of the RIP storyline where we thought it was about Batman dying but in the end it was about him being misplaced in time.

Yeah well that would probably be due to the RIP homage cover. I don't think this is con or a temporary solution. Morrison is pretty passionate about Damian...he's probably planned this from the start. Chris Burnham confirmed in an interview today with Newsarama he has known about this for the past two years now from when he first read Morrison's outline for "season two". I don't see how it could be a "Final Crisis" type situation. Unless of course one of the clones survives somehow that Talia has been growing, but I have a feeling that will be dealt with in the grand finale.

I'm not saying he'll necessarily be misplaced in time but that this might be a similar situation where we're lead to think a character is dead but something even odder has happened. We'll see.

There was no time travel in RIP. You are thinking of Final Crisis and Return of Bruce Wayne.

    Bleedingcool is speculating
    is Harper Row

It's all the same story. RIP led into Final Crisis which led into the Return of Bruce Wayne which led into Morrison's last arc on Batman & Robin. I mentioned RIP because we all thought Batman was going to die in it but he didn't; it ended up that he got misplaced in time right after the events.

As mentioned BC is not the only ones who've speculated about who Harper is going to be in the future.

RIP actually took place at the same time as Final Crisis IRRC as we discovered Bruce was trapped inside Desaad's dream machine. The whole thing was constructed to be Darkseid's ultimate trap for Bruce...and of course Bruce escaped it ;)

Why? The Post printed what DC gave them. DC spoiled the comic, not the Post.

Yeah. The same thing happens when Marvel "leaks" a story to the USA Today or whomever. This isn't a Bleeding Cool/relaunch announcement situation.

No, everything in RIP happened. Dr. Hurt even tells Bruce that the next time he puts on his cowl he'll die and the next time he puts it on is when he goes to investigate the death of a god. Bruce does hallucinate while he's trapped but the RIP storyline really did happen- Dr. Hurt has appeared again and again, after all. I'd be shocked if we didn't see him one last time before this is all over.

Either way I don't think there is going to be a cop out involving Damian.

Gotta admit I'll miss the little guy. He does "bad boy" partner much better than Jason Todd ever did.

RIP happened. Bat #701-2 showed what happened between the end of RIP and the beginning of Final Crisis.

Years from now, someone will punch a wall of reality or dig him out of a Lazarus Pit.

I'm sure he'll be back. Sadly. I really do wish death was permanent in comics. But, I guess the IP is to valuable and sentiment to strong.

That was said about Barry Allen, Hal Jordan, Jason Todd and Stephanie Brown just to name a few.

Damian will be back....if the other two "dead" Robins came back then the precedent is there that given time, given the writer and DC needing an "event" moment then Damian will return. Somehow, someway....it's comics.

Considering that for much of Damien's time he was written by Morrison, I could see him not coming back our of respect to Morrison as he's a well loved writer.

That will last as long as the current regime - DC and other corps 'respect' for writers starts and ends at the contractual level.

Maybe he will come back...I hope that is the case, but for the time being, I don't see that happening. Chris Burnham talked about hoping this was permanent as to not "cheapen" the death. I'm well aware that other characters have returned from "the dead"....especially Robins, but this is a different case though since the writer that created the character for a specific run is killing him off while he's concluding that run. Perhaps we will see him again in a few years, but I doubt it.

Also I never said RIP never happened. All I mentioned was that it took place at the same time as Final Crisis and that Bruce was trapped in the dream machine. That was also part of the plan as I mentioned in my previous post.

It depends on how they handle the situation. If DC has a new Robin waiting in the wings then yes he might stay dead.
