^No. Was it revealed that Bones had an ancestor named Brom?

Oh yes, if fact as soon as Hodgins said the 'line' I paused the PVR and asked my wife, "Did you just see what they did there?". She did not catch it.

I caught it, rolled my eyes and mentioned it to my wife, who didn't catch it either.

Hah! I saw what you did there.

I didn't see it, but I heard they had the characters on BONES talking about setting their DVRs to record SLEEPY HOLLOW . . ..

I caught that, I couldn't decide if it was funny or groan worthy. I leaned more towards the latter.

Bones has had the worst product placements I have ever seen. They don't even try to be creative anymore.

I'll never forget the time that Bones's latest novel hit the bestseller list--so her publisher gave her a new car as a bonus!

As opposed to, say, a fruit basket? :)

They did a crossover with Avatar too where half the cast spent the whole episode talking about how much of an amazing, makes life worth living movie ever made that will change the world.

I don't know why this show is still on the air.

Bones is one of my favorite shows, but even I'll admit their product placement tends to be rather groan worthy. It amazes how many times they've gotten in a car, and then spent the next five minutes discussing all of it's features, even though it has nothing to do with the plot.

Maybe you need a better publisher.

I seriously doubt that even Stephen King has ever received a new car from his publisher! :)

White Collar is usually pretty smooth at it, incorporating the demonstrations of automotive features in a way that feels organic and relevant to the stories. The one exception was a scene where the leads had a lengthy digression about a horoscope that they looked up via the car's computer, which distracted from the plot and seemed out of character for them both.

I used to love how many times on Burn Notice that selling the Genesis started with "When you're a spy and you need a car...."

^It says a recurring role, not a regular one. Still, it's good news.

I'd pay to watch John Noble watch paint dry.

    Must catch the pilot somewhere.
