Since no one was arrested and hauled away the night of the incident, it would seem neither party had any obvious marks indicating a struggle. Else they probably would have taken him downtown.

Agreed, which is why when I am battering a woman, I always hit her in the hair well, well away from the scalp.

If the wife kills Bob in that house, and it becomes a murderhouse will that add or subtract a few million from the asking price?
Doubtful, but the Wraiths haunting the house afterwards would probably be pleased.

Well, here it is 2 weeks later and we've not heard anymore about it, so I guess she couldn't. Though some people would interpret that as him "getting away with it".

Re: Cops Respond to Domestic Violence

He could have the bruises, but still she would have been the one that called.

Men don't snitch.

Unless she threatened his car.

I suppose the concerned neighbours could have called?

On Ally Mcbeal there was an episode where a wife midway through a divorce, hired a crane and dropped a grand piano on her husbands Porsche.

Yeah, only the stinking rich would do that sort of thing. A normal person would simply sell the car or lay claim to it through her attorney.

Normal people do not get Legal advice from Cage and Fish.

Apparently everything is good now, they deleted some of his ethical subroutines and everything is back to normal.
