The talented Babelcolour posted his first new video in awhile this morning - a wonderful tribute to Sarah Jane: [yt]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UX5P8UyxA-I[/yt]
And the tears return again. Thank you for posting this. I checked last week to see if he had made one yet but it looks like he took his time to make it right. I'm just surprised he didn't do one for Nicholas Courtney, too.
I've seen the Sarah Jane one, but I haven't seen this one. Thanks for the link, it brought a tear to my eyes.
I hope it's okay to bump this thread. It's two years todaydf since we lost Elisabeth Sladen. I watched "The Wedding of Sarah Jane Smith" tonight. There is so much to watch and enjoy of what she did on Doctor Who, but I personally find her performance in that two parter amazing. Her final scene with DT in the TARDIS was up there with the "Don't forget me" scene from "Hand of Fear". I miss you Lis... and I know I'm not alone.
That was a stand-out episode, wasn't it? But she was great from "Time Warrior" through "Hand of Fear". To watch all those and then there's that scene in "School Reunion" where she turns around to face the TARDIS ... chills go up and down my spine! Plucky, warm, inquisitive ... a great character played by a fantastic actor. If we ever develop time travel, we've got to go back for her!
Pretty much my reaction, too. Unbelievable. You've inspired me to start watching it too. Always one of my favourite serials, and she's a big part of why I enjoy it so much. QFT.
I just love how playful she gets when Tom starts talking about being a Timelord and walking in eternity
I introduced my little girl to The Sarah Jane Adventures tonight. She was really into it- "Nobody can catch Sarah Jane! She's too fast!"
