Had the same happen to one of my Officers - he'd been caught by thalaron radiation in a previous mission, but revived before beaming back up.

However, upon beaming down in the next mission, he was re-petrified, which was rather funny - screenshot's been posted up-thread, here:

That shot of Bajor above made me realise how many great 'orbit' shots I've managed to get, so I thought I'd dig out a few of the best:

I was on a late night Cure run with the GIF and we finished in (for us anyway) record time: 1:45

Aaand I got something special out of it. A purple Mark X Squad Leader Kit. Which is really cool, cause I was planning on crafting it and now I got it completely for free!!!

I based her appearance on a mental image I have of T'Prynn from the Vanguard novels...

Here she is meditating in private...

As you can see, she prefers to meditate...unencumbered.

    Whoops, wrong franchise.

Not a shot of art, but look at the NPC ship on the right side of the screen. Soon to be added as playable? I wouldn't mind the Oberth being an alternate choice for T3 Science Vessel. Or as T2 and bump up the Nova Class to T3 instead.

It's on the calendar for late April - I don't think any tier details have been released yet (or any details, for that matter).

    Wow - that's a big Oberth...

But hey - considering that K-7's big enough to fly an Excelsior into the shuttlebay without scraping the walls, maybe that's deliberate... :rommie:

    Look what I got today.

And while I sadly have to give up a readyroom while using it, I DO get a Briefing Room so not too much of a loss

Oh and I can go here anytime I want

Next on the tour two other places TOS fans will remember and as you'll see here THE NPCS HAVE THE RIGHT UNIFORMS

    Next the loung

Oh and if your not in the mood to use the turbolifts the Jefferies Tubes are good for getting from deck to deck

And you know what it actually feels like being on a starship for once.

No, the camera is playing tricks on you here. It's actually tiny. That's why I put it into the foreground to get more detail.

Thank goodness - I'd hate to have to pass up on getting one because it's over-inflated! ;)

Finally hit Level 43, or 'Captain 13' since I'm against the whole 'Admiral' thing - got permission to head over to Gamma Orionis with the fleet.

Here's the Valiant, visiting a true veteran of the Dominion War - the U.S.S. T'Kumbra:

Cruising around the local area - ended up attracting the (unwanted) attention of a Borg cube...

It's these moments when having Transwarp capability really comes in handy! :bolian:

Back in safer territory, helped the V.S. T'Pau from Gorn raiders, in the Challenger - for that authentic 'Enterprise' experience!

You will have problmes dealing with upcoming missions if you don't spent your skillpoints. You CAN keep your captain's title and rank pins.

That's meaningless, since the NPC dialogue still refers to you as "Rear Admiral, Lower Half" (in full, too, which is a really basic error.

So yeah - either it'll get fixed at some point, or I'll keep playing for as long as I can at Captain level. Ultimately, if it doesn't improve, I don't see why I should force my characters to be 'Admirals' if I don't want, so it'll be the final straw that forces me to quit STO for good.

Besides, I just found a brand new copy of 'Klingon Academy' for £16, which IMO might be the greatest Trek game ever, so it's swings and roundabouts. STO isn't that great a Trek experience at present that I can't look elsewhere for alternatives.
