^But that part isn't part of the alternate timeline.

He raided Xavier's corpse and grafted the parts of his brain that were responsible for telepathy onto his own brain. Supposedly in one alternate apocalyptic timeline it leads to the creation of a Red Skull Onslaught.

Lets not forget that that's not the real Red Skull.

He's a clone that just woke up from 1945 and he's really disappointed at the shit showing his donor has has made of the last decade of so in "the future".

As far as the collapse of the multiverse goes, can't they save 616's universe by destroying the earth themselves?

    1. A replacement earth was built in Fantastic Four a Couple years ago.

    2. Send everyone a few million years into the past? Same earth almost, millions of years to save the multiverse.

    3. Counter Earth from Adam Warlock which is often thought to be where Heroes Reborn happened (by writers at Marvel in Published comics), when other times Heroes Reborn happened into in a pocket universe (by writers at Marvel in Published comics).

It was established in the first arc of Hickman's New Avengers that the 616 Earth is the "prime" Earth...if it gets destroyed...everything else collapses IIRC. So destroying 616 Earth themselves isn't an option and why they've done everything possible to protect it against the Builders and the other-universe incursions.

Re: Marvel Now/ReEvolution Ongoing Discussion (Spoilers)

When "our" Avengers destroy other Earths, those universes the other earths are from survive.

It's only when both Earths are destroyed in a incursion that both universes die.

If they are able to destroy other Earths without destroying the other Earths universes surrounding that destroyed Earth, then it doesn't seem that your conclusion is completely with merit.

I guess it's like shooting ducks in rabbit season.

Oh. What if Age of Ultron sucked hard. The What ifs had almost NOTHING to do with the Age of Ultron...

An Army of Ultrons is crashing through dimensions assimilating Earth after Earth which the book claims is connected to he multiveral collapse.

Original Sin #1. Decent opener. Lots of different teams going out into action. Anyone have any clue who those two bad guys were at the end? My only concern about this series is that it's not going to have anything to do with the larger running storylines a la Fear Itself and be quickly forgotten. Is the Illuminati/New Avengers getting exposed just to going to be a side story of all this? I hope it's central to the story.

I haven't seen Bucky since he "died" in Fear Itself. Is he on a team now? He was working with Moon Knight here, who was on the first team of Secret Avengers, is he still on a team? Very weird to see Gamora showing up to help them; does she know them?

The teams were selected by Fury. They are not even being subtle that he is going to die at the end of OS.

The story though Infinity was one of the bookends for Hickman's Avengers saga. I think it suppose to be where Cap realizes what the Illuminati did to him. It's just Marvel expanded the scopes of the event and farmed it out to Aaron. The biggest revelations are now probably Thor and Loki's sister and the second person who was bitten by the Spider.

I haven't seen Fury since the end of Secret Warriors.

Nick has been persona non grata since he almost destroyed Latveria.

When did he get out of trouble for that?

If Bucky ever did porn, that would be a horrible catch phrase.

    "Winter is Coming."

Did he ever cross paths with Patriot from the Young Avengers, who basically wore a much harder Bucky uniform.

"When I was Young, I wanted to be Bucky, we all wanted to be Bucky."

    J. Jonah Jameson.
