Personally, I liked Ray Stevenson's Punisher better than Thomas Jane's. Ray felt closer to the comics.

I wouldn't call Punisher: War Zone a sci-fi. Though it's a Marvel based story, he's in a stand alone universe. Plus, there's nothing sci-fi about that movie.
But there is about Escape from New York. IF scifi is allowed, I know who I'd use. If not, I'll have to think of something else. OK, if there's no scifi allowed, I'll go with this: If there is scifi allowed, I'll go with this:
