I just found out that the character of Michael Eddingotn was played by the same actor who plays Prince Colwyn in the film Krull. I would never have connected those two as being the same perosn they look so different my mind is totally blown and a little freaked out
But one of my best friends is bald...granted the early male pattern baldness that he inherited form his father hasnt taken full effect yet but its only a couple years at most before the remaining pitiful stubble that decorates his scalp completely disappears and I am so glad he isnt a member of this forum :P Seriously though I think its the beard he has in Krull rather than his lack of hair on DS9 that confuses me. And I just remembered he also has a riduculous amount of chest hair in Krull.
Now that i know about this i cant stop thinking how wonderfully ironic it is that Eddington was romantic at heart and wanted to be a dashing hero who leads his band of followers to victory against the bad guys and to live happily with the fair maiden and in Krull he is that guy.
Listen to the commentary track from Krull- Marshall says an agent gave him the same advice Sean Connery received early in his career- invest in a really good hairpiece.
I think that depends on personal experience/opinion. So far in my life most of the topless men i have seen both in real life and in tv/film have had little to no chest hair. So going by my experience he looks like he has a ridiculous amount of chest hair. Doubtless there are many men out there both in real life and on tv/film that are more hairy and would put his 'ridiculous amount fo chest hair' to shame but i havent seen them or have seen very little of them.
The dvd and commentary were done some years ago but I believe he's mostly a theatre guy with only occasional TV and film appearances. His big moment seems to be the Marco Polo miniseries and Krull in the early '80s.
