I really like the show and am glad they got renewed. I find the characters interesting and well developed although I have not heard of too many people watching it.

We (Hubby and I) watch it. While I don't know for sure, it seems to be trying to be realistic for the times in attitude and everything. And to use the "new" underground system in a plot? Not something seen in most detective stories based in that time and place.

Hard to believe its Mr. Darcy! (Kiera Knightly version). He looks better filled out a bit.

Double YAY! I've been catching up on the show and have really been enjoying it. I really like these characters and the backdrop of post-Ripper London.

I picked up the first season on DVD yesterday.

Nothing tells you how much Doctor Who fans are gouged by the BBC on DVDs than paying under twenty dollars for a full season of Ripper Street.
