I should be able to. UPDATE... Added more detail to the top of the Pug. I’ve also started to finalize some of the detail for the KBH disrupters.
UPDATE... Ok. I added more detail to the wing tips and the disruptor. Just need to chamfer a few edges and that should be just about it. I think this might be the best weapon I’ve made so far. I also added a few more bits to the head. Not much though.
UPDATE... This part has been bugging me for awhile. So I closed it up and it now looks like this. I think it just needs a few adjustments.
UPDATE... I decided to try to get a little end of month work done. So I fixed the segmenting at the nose of the ship and rebuilt the nav deflector. I also added a small amount of detail above the shuttle bay. I also added some phasers and torpedo tubes to the U.S.S. Sagan.
UPDATE... Got kind of tired of working on my house project so I though I’d do a little work on this ship that I started awhile ago. I’ve been wanting to this kind of warp engine for awhile and I thought this would be a good ship to do it with.
UPDATE... I got all the edges chamfered and added a few small details. I added a nav light to the top and started to work on the warp pylon. On the back I added some kind of venty thing.
What're you planning for the shuttlebay? Looks like you have the basic shape for an Excelsior-type shuttlebay.
Haven't even thought about it yet. UPDATE... Trying to fill up the back with more detail. Added a little more detail to the warp pylons and decided to join them together and added a bump thing I’m not totally sure about yet. Another look at the detail on the pylons.
UPDATE... I added more detail to the back and started on the RCS system. Got a little bit started on the bridge. This is what I’m thinking for the impulse engines.
UPDATE... Here is an attack shuttle based on a design by John Eaves. I blocked in the shapes a couple of months ago but didn’t post them then. Ignore the goofy stuff going on in the front.
UPDATE... Got more detail on the warp engine. The RCS system is in and ready to go. I’m also thinking that box on the bottom will be the shuttle bay.
UPDATE... I chamfered a few edges I needed to get to and started to do more work for the bridge. I also moved over to mental ray for the render.
UPDATE... More details added to the bridge. I’m also thinking about something like this for the Nav dish since I’ve never seen it done by anyone else
Have you thought about what the classification of this vessel could be? I think that she could easily be an ancestor of the Olympic class Medical Vessel.
I actually wanted to do something like the Olympic. And this is it. UPDATE... I haven’t been able to get much work done. The week was just crap. Blew a tire on my car. Might have to put my little doggie down and my toilet decided it didn’t want to take my crap anymore. I added a little bit of something in front of the shuttle bay. I’ve also got some airlocks and sensor pallets started. That’s about it for August.
I'm really liking how the undercut is looking, and I'm okay with the placement of the shuttlebay. Sorry to hear that your dog isn't doing so well. We have 2 dogs ourselves, so I can appreciate how it must feel when things aren't looking good our little furry family members. But I found the way that you worded how your toilet was no longer working at the end hilarious.
