Some groceries. Doritos redesigned their bags and decreased the weight from 11.5 ounces to just 11 and the price remains the same. Less chips for the same price = rip off!

A lot of brands of ice cream did that a few years ago. Yes, it's a rip off, but on the other hand it's a few less fatty calories in the house. ;)

M&M/Mars chocolates have been cutting back on the number of bars in their "Fun/Snack Pack Size" packages for the past few years or so. As late as the middle of the last decade a pack had 10 bars, then when chocolate prices rose they cut the number back to eight. Recently the number of bars in each package fell to six while the price has gone from an average of 99 cents to $1.49 during the same time period.

Got to be honest, I'm posting this here as well as in the picture thread because it turned out great, it makes me happy, and I want to show it off! My latest purchase, $480 of technicolor awesome:

Grabbed some takeout dinner. I am just not feeling up to cooking anything again, but at least it gave me a chance to gas up and grab an extra bag of groceries.

I bought a bracelet with Kokopelli on it, the Star Trek Cold Equations novel; so far, it's made me cry twice; a long sleeved Data shirt, some solid perfume that smells freakin' amazing; and a pair of flip-flops.

I bought an iPod touch. It's sorta frustrating because I don't want all the bells and whistles that come with iOS (just need songs and podcasts), but I wanted the 64GB storage. Still, very much liking it so far.

iPhone 4S. I've ditched my Verizon Wireless plan and switched to a Virgin Mobile prepaid one instead. It should save me a nice little amount of money each year now.

I bought an old pre-owned Ford Fiesta 1,1 CL yesterday. I'm pretty happy with it so far.

You got a prepaid plan on an iPhone? How did you do that?

I'm not entirely sure what the correct term to use is, actually. Virgin Mobile's plans are contract-free starting at $35 a month.

^ Oh. "Prepaid" isn't the term I would use to describe that, actually. To me, Prepaid is when you go and buy a certain number of minutes, then when you use those up, you can't call any more until you buy more minutes. I used to have a phone like that.
