Working toward a tech manual-style booklet of my kitbashes. Got a long way to go, but I thought I'd share some of the orthographic views I've been whacking out over the last few months. Everything done in CorelDRAW. UES PERRY (top view only so far) USS MINMUS USS COLUMBUS USS THEMISTOCLES
USS ARTEMIS USS CHAFFEE (and HARLEQUIN class torpedo boat variant) USS ALACRITY USS TERRELL USS DOMINION
Yes, it is true that you have a lot of work to do if you intend to do complete orthos for every ship you have shown, but the amount of work that you've done thus far is astounding. And this is taking into consideration the work that you also put into designing and building them in the first place.
Thanks! She surprised me when I walked into my room and the side view was up on the screen - I didn't realize how sleek she looked in profile! Credit Jackill with the inspiration for that one. It's a variation on one of his Excelsior designs in his third book.
HEAVY SHUTTLECRAFT - Survey/Utility version; cargo version; ambulance version. (The model is built from the hull of the cartoon Voyager from the 70s cartoon Fantastic Voyage)
Is it just a coincidence or a deliberate choice that each "era" faces the opposite direction from the previous one? Pre-TOS - left TOS - right Refit - left Excelsior - right post Refit/Exc - left
Totally unconscious, like myself. Ya know, it now occurs to me that I could have put these all in scale on a webpage, rather than upload individually to posts. oh well.
