Well, I finished Letters From the Earth, and it just reminds me how much I miss adept literary luminaries like Mark Twain. We've had humorists since, who have been exemplary (such as Wil Rogers), but Twain was one of a kind, I think. Anyhoo, continuing on through the much neglected "Classics" section of my Kindle library, I've just started on Essays and Lectures by Oscar Wilde.
I'm reading The Selection series by Kiera Cass. I'm on Book 2, The Elite. The One is scheduled to be released in May.
I forgot to comment earlier; this is one of my all-time favorite books. I read it in high school and it made a big impact on me.
The Book of General Ignorance: Everything You Think You Know Is Wrong, by John Lloyd and John Hitchinson. I LOVE this stuff.
I'm reading The Birthmarked Series by Caragh M. O'Brien. I'm almost finished with the first book, Birthmarked.
I finished Zoo Quest for a Dragon by David Attenborough which tells of his travels to Indonesia back in the 1950s in search of the Komodo Dragon. I have started The Martian by Andy Weir. Good so far.
Finished the third Colossus novel last night. This one, at least, had some comments on the frequent use of alcohol in the trilogy. BTW: Should you ever want to read Colossus; don't bother with the second and third novel.
A Nice Little Place on the North Side by George F. Will about Wrigley Field, the Chicago Cubs, and sweet home Chicago.
