And here's a couple more. This one was taken during the tour of the ballpark when I was standing on the warning track (right outside the O's dugout). Unfortunately they would not let our group walk on the grass itself. This one I took from inside the press box: Also unfortunately: I neglected to take pictures of the hella awesome crab cakes that TZ and I had (which were not at the ballpark itself - TZ has refused all my attempts to talk her into going to a game there. Ironically, she has actually been to Baltimore's old Memorial Stadium, and I haven't! ). They were not so much crab CAKES as crab VOLCANOES. And sized appropriately. I ate two. Next stop: Boston.
I posted pictures of Grace's bakery earlier, but it's really finished now! I added a bunch of mini treats and a tea cart. I also added a curtain for the window. Everything is glued to the furniture or the floor except the chairs and tea cart. I also made this last week- a "clock" shadow box, made with miniature chairs, table, and tea set. I've had this tiny tea set for years, but never had a good place to display it.
I the insect/flower photos!! Been trying to do similar shots all summer.... but with a mid-range phonecam and a clip-on macro lens it's not easy I kinda like this shot though: And this one isn't too bad either: Closer:
Mimic, wherever that is, I want to go there! Kira's Mom, the bakery is adorable. MLB, I especially like the shot from the top of Federal Hill.
Some throwback Thursday time, Here I am and look how pensive I was, wondering what I was contemplating. A boy, his boombox and a glass of water. Hey it was the 80's, think this is freshman year of high school. I'm on the far right, at a really good friends halloween party. I'm dressed as Lestat from Interview with a Vampire.
I was straightening up our patio at work last night and almost walked my face right into this spider.
Took this last night on the climb out. Got really lucky with the running light illuminating the engine.
