How do you know Chak is naturally endowed? Have you been studying something clips on pause?

He's not endowed with acting ability, we know that much. Hell, Ronald Villiers is a better actor.

Human Error remains the ONE and only Seven of Nine episode I dislike.

When she's giving that smarmy toast, if it wasn't to a roomful of holograms programmed to suck up to her ego... They would have been rolling their eyes, booing and hissing.

    HSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!

    Harry is the drunk?

I'm having a hard time narrowing down who is the drunk.

But the ship has to have the drunk...

    Oh.

    Seven is the Drunk.

She tried to kill a Chakotay for even trying to drink the wrong wine with dinner in Void.

This is why the Doctor was always the best potential mate, though the biological possibilities were limited. But if she had wound up with the EMH, it would have been like all those movies over the years where a guy falls in love with his computer, and the computer gets jealous and tries to eliminate any competition for his affections.

You mean like in Darkling when the Doctor pushes Kes' new alien boyfriend off a cliff because she was planning to run away with him?

Yeah, there were movies like that all the time. One of the earliest I remember is Electric Dreams, with Bud Cort as the computer. He falls in love with the hero's girl and tries to get rid of the hero.

I think Metropolis predated that. :)

What about the final episode of Galactica 1980, where Starbuck has a civil union with a Cylon and they adopt a starbaby?

I'm all for gay rights, but the graphic sex scenes between Starbuck and his toaster husband seemed uncalled for and did not match the same timber as the rest of the season.

I tried to avoid Galactica 1980 as much as possible. We could go a little further back to Demon Seed (1977) where the computer mates with Julie Christie and makes a little robot.

Demon Seed even gets bonus points, because it has Trek guest actors Fritz Weaver and Gerrit Graham, dwarf Felix Silla who played a Talosian in "The Cage", and Michael Dorn in a bit part.

When I watched BSG1980 in 1980, as a 4 year old, there was a scene where I thought they were talking about how they didn't have to worry about the metal detectors when taking their laser guns onto a commercial passenger plane because they made of "Carving Steel".

I thought "Carving steel" was a really cool concept/idea/use of Galacticeese.

Years later, rewatching the same scene, the word turned out to be "Carbon Composite".

    :)

The bad in Galactica 1980 was really bad: "Superscouts".

The good in Galactica 1980 was really good: "Wolfman Jack."

If I was him I'd be locking her into a desk job. How the heck is he going to cope with her jaunting off into danger?

 He couldn't ever tell her what to do though. She has more balls than he does. For me, as long as she's alive in the next book, I'm good.

I think I still prefer novel-verse Chakotay over tv-Chakotay. Even though I wanted them to end up together in both. :D
