Funko ReAction Spock figure from Target, which the guy who checked me out thought was cool and McDonald's.
Went through a couple of large supermarkets and a couple of minor ones today; looked, searched, despaired, asked for help, no funnel for coffee-filters sold anywhere! An amazing assortment of useless cheap plastic gizmos, for kitchen use, everywhere... But if you want a cup of coffee -you'll just have to buy a big expensive (and as I know the sort; useless!) electric coffee maker! -And this in one of the most coffee consuming nations of the world!!! [/rant] Finally found what I was looking for in the conveniently located, tiny, store around the corner from where I live (thirty seconds on foot)... Sure, it did cost in the vicinity of three times, what I'd expected, but then, what else can you get for about a dollar these days?
Shark Navigator Deluxe (NV42) vacuum from Amazon. Thing will suck the chrome off of a trailer hitch. First time I've ever bought anything more than a $50 vacuum. But I always end up burning those out in six months, so I figured it was worth the extra money.
Did some shopping today, was looking for a PS2 controller. No luck there. Found some Jim Butcher books, couldn't get them though . They smelled like cat pee. Idiots! Don't pawn them off, burn them for gosh sakes. It's rude to do that. On an up note, found some great music! Here's what I found: The sound track from A League of their Own Something to Remember -- Madonna (was surprised to find this one) Everything you Want -- Vertical Horizon Songs in the Key of X (sort of, the dweeb didn't give the real cd, it was a burnt one, that had some random crap on it -- one being the XF theme, an episode from the show and some other stuff -- found the real stuff other wise though... so it's not a big deal) Stunt -- Barenaked Ladies The sound track from Something's Gotta Give No Doubt (I think it's their debut cd) Villains -- The Verve Pipe The sound track from Philadelphia Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie -- Alanis Morrisette First Band on the Moon -- The Cardigans Disc 1 and 2 Homicide Life on the Street -- S1 Game of Thrones -- George R.R. Martin The Tommyknockers -- Stephen King Got a couple dvd's from Wal-Mart too -- The complete series of Firefly -- $9.96 S1 of Game of Thrones -- $15
Dental implants. Finally finished, the last 3 implants were just put in. This was an almost two year process. Moving to Syracuse didn't help, having to goto Long Island for each of the procedures. Oh yeah, a bunch of tolls from Syracuse to Long Island, plus the gas. Man is the weather shitty here today.
