Over two months, do two-parters usually take this long?

Depends on the episode. "Best of Both Worlds" and "Basics" was finished a lot faster.

Best of Both Worlds had very little time between posts. Vanyel and I just went at full speed, 3, sometimes 4 lines per minute for a few hours an evening over a couple of days. We haven't had much of that intensity recently, at least not that I've gotten to be a part of.

I looked up the times on the two previous eps this morning. IIRC Day of the Dove was 330ish lines and about 3 & 1/2 weeks long, whereas the 2 parter DS9 that preceded it, with over 800 lines was less than that.

IIRC, a couple of speedsters finished off Basics, another 2 parter, in less than 24 hours. Heck, I was ticked off because I had been "waiting" for a Voy ep back then and it was done before I even knew it had been chosen. :wtf:
