and I just caught it. Spoiler: plot twist The narrator NEVER SAYS that the next generations heavy cruiser is being built around Axanar. He says Kharn's spys LEARN that the next generation heavy cruiser is being built around Axanar. Details matter. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1W1_8IV8uhA&google_comment_id=z12hjlfqpr2oifexn04cj3fxwxfhun5b1v00k (see comments section) in fact they say it two different times. Looks like I was/may be at least partially right.
Yup. People took that to be a continuity gaff, but it's really a cleverly worded bit of story telling. I'm wondering if it's somewhat inspired by Patton's "ghost army" and other such strategies.
That would certainly be a good way to get all the Klingon big guns in one place, and Khan hasn't likely read about the Battle of Midway.
They've dropped a bigger spoiler in my view but I'm not gonna repeat it here since I wish I didn't know it. It's an awesome idea, though. Very clever.
As for the initial spoiler, yeah that's what I was thinking when Prelude came out. The wording choice and the general knowledge of events makes it seem obvious.
I can't spill it but I just saw that it is still online at Star Trek Axanar.com. What I can do is PM Tobias with full details and he can post whatever he wants here. He is part of the production and I am not. Maybe I am the only one that will find it spoilerish.
Dude, just spoilertag it. People can then choose to be spoiled or not. If it was on the Axanar page, it's ok for you to mention it here.
Hey Ronald and Phantom, Go to: startrekaxanardot com Click the tab: AboutAxanar Read about the characters Of course I haven't read the script but something I read on that page convinces me that this story/script is going to be special/clever.
Hmmmmmm... The only thing I noted was: Spoiler: possible spoiler That the entry for April indicated that he commanded (past tense) the Enterprise on her shakedown, indicating that she's already operational.
