There's this really cute guy at another forum that I visit, and he uses a Cookie Monster avatar. So I did this ...
It's been a while since I posted in this thread, and since not everyone like to venture into TNZ I thought I would post here as well. I'm on vacation for the next couple of weeks and we're staying at home, so I got the rare opportunity to go out and about in the city yesterday afternoon all by myself. I finally went and checked out some abandoned train tracks that I've been wanting to explore for some time now. An old building that is going to be refurbished as part of the revitalization project of an old industrial area near the Chaudiere Falls. I can't wait to see what it looks like in a few years. A broken window in another derelict building. Some shots of the abandoned tracks. The Prince of Wales Bridge. And a random flower spotted along the way. At first I thought it was a dandelion, but now I'm not so sure. Does anyone have any idea what it might be?
So, I'm new to this thread, having only discovered it last night (July 19, 2019), but I have a photo that ties into Star Trek, if perhaps tangentially. This was the former location of Filmation in Reseda, California, best known to Trekkies for making Star Trek: The Animated Series. Now, a nondescript office building in a not-so-great neighborhood.
Is that the building where they made the show, or one that was put there when the TAS studio was torn down?
After I recorded a new podcast episode, a friend showed me the old Star Trek Starfleet Star Charts he got. I know they're upside down, get off me.
Neat! A "First Season" B-9 with the silver/grey claw and the white light function push buttons. Is that prop/costume yours, Maurice?
This isn't anybody I know but I thought it might make somebody smile. I posted it in a thread in TNZ but not everyone goes there.
