I hope it never does. The whole point of the TrekBBS Armada is to be a focal point for THIS community in game, not a resource pool for a starbase.

The advantage of this fleet compared to most other fleets is that it is long lived. So long as there are trek fans coming here, the forum remains lively and STO remains fun to play, there is very little worry that our Fed and KDF fleets will collapse and be abandoned like many of the smaller fleets out there.

So whatever projects we can complete is here to stay for a long time for all current and future members to enjoy.

Yes, there are several larger fleets out there, some good, some bad. TrekBBS should maintain it's identity fleet as is. However, there is nothing wrong with being allies with another fleet. Good for practicing PVP or cooperating on missions.

There are an almost unlimited number of small fleets, many are one player deep. I wish Cryptic would do something like LOTRO which disbands kinships that fall below a certain number.

I saw a ship that I want, but it requires a tier 5 shipyard. Probably take a while to get there. :-)

I have a message from the post office that a package arrived for me, so I'm headed there now. Perhaps it's my SWTOR game.

Howdy all. Started playing a few months ago and am at lvl 50 in both Fed and KDF. Kinda felt like there was nothing left to do as a solo/lone wolf and have been hesitant to jump into STFs with PUGs, so I've just been DOFFing and exploring the Foundry for a long while...

Read the KDF House needs some assistance - would love to support this community if I can!

Edit: not near my PC but I think I am K'chunda@kchunda on the KDF and kchunda@kchunda on the Fed. Both tacs, BoP and Patrol Escort pilot (Fed leveled up as a tac cruiser until I realized how much more 'splosions I can have w DHCs!)

I just wish they were available for longer. It's hard for our small KDF fleet to scrape together enough dilithium to complete these in the time allotted.

So are we doing the holiday featured project since it uses the holiday stuff you get from the winter wonderland events? I mean some of us are bound to have extras we want to dump somewhere.

I suggest sharing with your fleetmates if you have extras.

Tip - when buying winter provisions use the items that you collected last year first as they are bound to your character. The new items are not and can be traded or shared.

What's a good time to go online and play where I can get some help from fellow Fleet members? I pretty much gave up on this game for a good while because I can't progress when it comes to starship missions. I suck at them.

Wish the game had more land-based away missions and less starship combat. 90 percent of the TV shows are land-based, why is the game more starship combat-oriented? lol

The game is more space-based because that's what's more fun to 99% of the players, which is true mostly because the ground combat was horrible before S5, which is where most of the content comes from.

Also, keep in mind most ground missions involve mostly "shoot a bunch of dudes," which is no more Trek than the pew-pew in space.;)

Yeah, but they're more story-based than the space missions which makes them more fun to me.

Freman, I'm generally on 10pm to midnight, GMT+1

At the current time, I'm just doing the Winter Wonderland routine. I would consider doing one of the featured episode series if you need help with those. My characters have the rewards already.

Did the Breen ornament project pass? Just curious as I haven't heard anymore about it.

I'm outfitting all my chars with scarfs, boots and a Flurry/Avalanche. Getting close now to achieving that goal so may have some left over trinkets later.

Be careful taking that project if you don't think we can finish. It may not be possible to flush out unfinished projects.

Cryptic already has said, they have a solution for that special special project. No one will be stuck on it once the resources are no longer available.

My best guess is that the rest percentage will be converted into a dilithium amount that is comparable to the other special projects.

So if your Breen Ship Ornament is 50% done, you need to use 100k dilithium to finish it.

Don't take my word for it, just seems the most "Cryptic" way to do it IMO.

Nah, the most Cryptic way to do it would be for you to get partway and then have it all deleted for a pittance that goes towards another project, or nothing at all.
