Vicodin abuse can lead to hearing problems, so House's hearing loss should be no surprise. ETA- the playoff game just went into extra innings. Think we may not get House tonight.
Uh-oh, Chase is having flashbacks. I think Old House is back already, playing tricks on residents while doing rounds. POTW is a jerk.
I liked it, good Chase storyline, not too much Forman, some good House & Wilson, a bit of Cuddy and a mildly interesting case with a sweet ending.
^No spoilers, please! We're delayed on the East Coast because of the baseball playoffs. Is House hallucianting again?
My DVR only got about 15 minutes of the episode due to goddamn baseball. Why oh why can't my cable-company DVR be half as smart as a TiVo?
Awwww, Wilson. He breaks my heart. At least the writers FINALLY got a clue that House/Wilson is the character interaction they need to focus on. It makes the show worthwhile.
God @#$%ing dammit! I had to be out at a family dinner tonight and unfortunately the DVR didn't know about the stupid baseball game, so I don't know what time House started, but needledss to say I didn't get all of it. Goddamned baseball game!
I liked it overall. The POTW was fairly conventional, but that's par for the course for most episodes I think. I like the show best when it folds the patient and the team drama together and juxtaposes them in interesting ways. This one didn't do that quite so much, so the best parts for me were where we got away from the patient. I loved House's line at the end: "Wilson! This is stupid!"
