I'd look, but I'm worried I'd just get frustrated at not being able to read further in. Besides I'm going to end up owning the book anyhow, so I might as well just wait a...(inhales deeply)...few more weeks.

Good thing I've got the Vanguard books to tide me over.

 

Breen/Tzenkethi. I've been eager to see how these two cultures interact and compare. There are so many points of potential similarity and conflict.

I just finished reading the chapter David Posted at Amazon. What a terrific story Disavowed is going to be. I can't wait to read the rest of this book and find out more about what Julian Bashir has been doing since the fall miniseries.

 

I am almost finished but have refrained from any comments until past the official release date.

 

Without spoilers...is it as good as it seems? I'm a big Bashir fan, and really enjoy it when he's in the spotlight

 

I'm a fan of Julian Bashir too. I'm interested in knowing what you thought of the book too.

 

I really do not want to provide anyone with a reason to complain that I got my copy early. Having said that I am neutral on Bashir as a character, so I am uncertain how fans of his will react to this book. Also I have not finished it so there may be something critical at the end affecting him.
I will have a time line question for Mr. Mack.

 

Did you get at NYCC?

 

Yes I did it was the only one on the S&S table.

 

David, any idea when you will offer a signed copy of the book on your website?

 

I can't offer copies for direct sale until its official shelf date of October 28.

 

BD emailed to say my copy is on its way to them! Not yet on its way to me!
