If he's Skip Bayless, then I'm Stephen A. Smith.

"I know Josh Freeman. He's a close, personal friend of mine..." ;)

The Pats did just sign Austin Collie. That won't strike fear into anyone's heart, but it will help I am sure. Especially since this rookie Thompkins has been injured hasn't he? I liek what I've sen of him, btw

Now Ridley is out too. Can't catch a break with all the injuries this year.

Like the Collie signing, but he's one head shot away from being done.

I'm flying to Dallas tomorrow for the Cowboys/Broncos game. Cowboys have little chance but at least I will get to say I've seen Peyton play before he hangs it up. Win/Win scenario if you ask me.

I still want to getn to a Manning-Brady at some point. Doubt I will given where I live these days. I love to watch Manning blow it in the playoffs though. Not so much the other way around. More of a hide the sharp objects feeling.

Wooh, Quarterback Controversy for the Win in Philadelphia ;)

Seriously, though, Nick Foles showed pretty much what you expect. He has a better feel for the offensive system and he can throw more accurately, but he doesn't have the extra things that Vick brings. Not only is he not a running threat, he made McCoy less of a running threat. Foles was also helped by turnovers. Plus, they beat the freakin' Giants.

I don't think this game settles it any more for Foles than week one settled it for Vick. We'll see what Chip Kelly does next week.

One of the more stressful second halves I've ever been through... Denver's offense was doing well, but that defense was laying eggs of epic proportions. When Dallas got the ball back at the end with a tie game, I was having serious flashbacks to the playoff loss to Baltimore- death by long bombs.

That Denver/Dallas game makes me feel better about missing the classic Denver/Kansas City MNF game between Elway and Montana. Manning and Romo were both at peak efficiency. There was almost nothing they couldn't do. Glad the Broncos won the day. :techman:

If the Patriots wanted someone who would throw for 1 INT, 0 TD, and a 47% completion rate, maybe they should have kept Tebow. If nothing else, he would have been cheaper than Brady. :P

I actually picked Cincy in that game in my pick'em league. Think whatever you want, the Pats just haven't looked dominant this year... Close wins against the Bills AND Jets?

I needed Oakland to win to win my confidence pool for the week, regardless of how the MNF game goes. I thought I was boned but shockingly they pulled through thanks to Rivers going full-on Romo with two INTs at the end that absolutely killed his team's chances of winning. Impressive.

They played like a hot roasted penis marinated in puppy tears.

That was a very winnable game.

I love how it's gotten to the point where Romo has become a verb. We all know what Romo means (and that meme above hits the nail on the head... no matter how good he is, they still lose).

I follow @PeytonsHead on Twitter, and he calls all interceptions #AirSanchez. Recently he's started calling fumbles #GroundSanchez. Even though Schaub and Eli have been extra horrible these past few games, and Sanchez isn't playing, he keeps using the Sanchez terms! I laugh.

    Raiders release Matt Flynn.

I bet he's on the first plane to Tampa.

He's made just under $15m the past two years (as in, he's been paid that amount and has it in the bank). I'd take that money and retire. That's practically winning the lottery.

If people are willing to keep bringing him in as the "savior", I'd keep playing.
