Two potential Trek Series

I read about two new Trek series which were supposedly under development. What do you think?

Ugh, we've had this come up multiple times. This is coming from a joke site. Nothing to see here.

I like neither. If they wanted to sell it to Trek fans, they failed.

I just learned the news from this article: http://www.callthecops.net/cbs-devel...evision-shows/

They're taking zero risk. "basic police procedural template"? "crime of the week"? "The typical episode plotlines will have blablabla"? We've had that for how many years now?

Really not interested. I'll pass.

edit: now I see the article dates back to November 2013. If it didn't make the news before, I would rather hope it's because it's a joke.

Re: Two potential Trek Series

Most of the series have had the occasional "police procedural" and "medical drama" story lines which work as part of the whole show. A series dedicated to these would be just dull.

Even though it is from a joke site, there are better ideas out there for potential new series. At least it wasn't something about 'Captain' Worf!
