TOS- The phaser assault rifle used in "Where No Man Has Gone Before". Used one time during the whole TOS, we never see it again. TNG- Worf's collection of Klingon Weaponry Bonus (what I would like most of all): In the Wrath of Khan, when they beam down to the planet, to find the survivors of the station, Kirk is wearing a red/white starfleet jacket (it's the one he's wearing when he shouts 'Khan' into the communicator. I wanted a jacket like that ever since I watched the movie.
I'd like to take a look at the line-by-line production budget from Star Trek: The Motion Picture. Considering how bloated that film ended up being, financially, it would be fascinating to see where all the money went.
I'll tell you what I would've liked: To have a picture with me as a Red Shirt on the bridge of TOS. No fake looking, like I was actually standing there gelling in with the group. That would be awesome.
All these posts and still no one has said "screen worn panties". Not sure exactly what that says about people here. No pervs or too geeky to be pervy.
It's a pity they went to CGI for ships in that a number of the pure CGI ships I would have loved to have as a physical model. I'd like a communicator or phaser, but for something more unique I'd like the ball from the end of "Take Me Out to the Holosuite". I have zero interest in baseball, but the fact it is (possibly) written on by the actors makes the difference. Or the Anslem prop from "The Visitor" would be pretty unique and different too.
Since we are allowed to dream big: TOS - The Enterprise NCC-1701 model. I saw it hanging in the Smithsonian and fell in love. TNG - The sofa/captain's & guest chairs from NCC-1701-D bridge. I would redesign my living room around them... or the TV room, at least!
hmm, thinking along that line... maybe the 'prop' they used for the Enterprise D viewscreen on the bridge... see if i could wire that up to be a proper TV M
