I'm still waiting for Barnes and Noble to call. I can't stand the wait.

Well I saw a copy today at my local Borders Express, but someone grabbed it right as I was about to. Didn't care though - I'll get it later.

Strange. They told me a few days ago they thought I was the only one who bought Trek books.

Where did you get your book Julio? I'm only asking just in case I don't see any at my local Barnes and Noble. I was going to order online but waiting til maybe the next books that are scheduled to come out.

    Hello Christopher,

I hope that you will create an annotations page for Star Trek: Titan Over a Torrent Sea. It's probably a lot of work to create the page from your notes but I find the annotation pages for your previous novels to be very illuminative. I find them to be very interesting especially the annotations that give us the reasons why you made a particular creative decision concerning a character, object, or event. Thank you so much for the effort and I hope that you will continue creating annotations pages for each new novel. :)

I will be posting an annotations page, but I want to wait until the book is more widely available.

Thanks. I suspected that was the reason. I wanted you to know that as a fan I look forward to reading your annotations page.

There is a local bookstore (not a chain store, like Borders) that seems to get it very early if I pre-order it. I learned this with the Destiny trilogy and have keep going with it since then.

See what happens. Do right by a customer and they come back!

Still have not seen this in my local store. I will check again today.

Ah smart move there. I wish I knew of a store like that. I know there quite a few different book stores I go to that sell used books, sometimes brand spanking new ones too. I probably should check into that.
I'm hopeing B&N will have it this week cause they had a truck in front of their store delivering this morning. I ordered a copy, so hopefully I will get mine soon, so I can join w/ everyone else on reading this new adventure.

I'm trying very hard to be patient and am hoping to have my copy by Friday but I would love a few spoilers from those who've read the book. Thanks.

    Thanks.

I'll beg for one spoiler now. I gather the Riker baby will be born in this book. If so, what do they name her (or him if Ree made a mistake) and does Riker make it for the birth? Thanks.

Wow, that's a pretty hefty spoiler. Are you sure you don't want to wait?

    But since you did ask...

Riker is not there for the birth of the baby, being injured on Droplet. I actually liked this, because it was pretty realistic and one of the risks of the life and mission Riker chose. I'll give you the baby's first name, since the middle name won't make sense unless you read the novel: Natasha (guess who she was named after)...
