    What does it mean to be a red shirt security officer stationed on a federation star ship, out there in the deepest reaches of the frontier? Space is full of adventure and wonder in the world of Trek, but it is also sometimes an extremely hostile and dangerous place. Red shirts put themselves out there on the line to protect their fellow crew members and live a life few can, to Live Red and Die Hard.
