Tell me more about your Magnum PI fantasies.

How you want to do him and/or be him.

I always felt sorry for T.C. because every week his helicopter would get shot in almost exactly the same place.

    It was uncanny.

    Exactly the same place.

    He is completely repulsive :(

I can't think of any role models for my hawaiian shirt "if I was a man" plan. Which means it is an original idea and not fueled by tv lust.

Ernest Borgnine should have been on Voyager as Seven's grandfather or something.

    FULL-CIRCLE! FULL-CIRCLE!

    I was more influenced by Benjamin's Bathrobe-For-All-Occasions.

It was certainly a wonderful lifestyle between the bathrobe and the hawaiian shirts.. just skip the war and dying part.

    Dying? He died!!!!!!???? SPOILERS!!!!

(I saw the first couple episodes to the lengthy swansong maybe 8 times during my adult life before I gave up on tv, and I do have it all on DVD, but I kept always somehow missing the very last ones as they aired.)

If you like Alan Alda, look for a film he did before MASH, 1971's The Mephisto Waltz. Murder, the occult, music, and sensuality. My ex really liked him in it when we saw it in the theater.

And for the boys, there's Jacqueline Bisset.

I remember I was traumatized by the baby smothering storyline.

    This bathrobe is also aspirational.

Picard had a bathrobe but he never looked this chill. Or at all chill.

    :wtf:

No one is better than Magnum.

It'll be interesting to see how Detective Pride measures up to... :luvlove: :luvlove: :luvlove: ...Thomas Magnum... :luvlove: :luvlove: :luvlove: .......

...Wait, I got distracted by all the Hawaiian shirts. Didn't this thread used to be about... Enterprise... something?...

Ahh, good old Phlox. My favourite Trek actor. I like the character, including his eccentricities and Billingsly portrayed him excellently.

    EDIT: Response to page one.
