Stopped watching this after Season 1. From the comments it seems like it didn't get much better.

To me it often seems like Doctor Who is the only decent sci-fi show left in the world.

The show is A LOT better in season 2 than season one. Even the let down of season three so far is better than the blah season 1.

No one suspected alien interference in the baby until after her birth. There was no mention of premature birth. Normal gestation is 9 months and change.

I suppose that depends upon wether the baby is 36 inches long or not (which I highly doubt as young as the baby is supposed to be)

No. Keep watching. It's the better alien invasion series between it and Defiance. It's the better end of the world show between it and Revolution. And I don't get why people who don't like it keep watching it and come into this thread to bitch about it, but don't pay any attention to them.

I will agree it is better than Revolution. Defiance I haven't watched.

Except Defiance isn't an alien invasion show. Honestly, the approaches to two shows' take on the aliens on Earth concept is so different, I wouldn't even compare them.

The spoonerism of Falling SKies is Skalling Fies... Scaling thighs.

Which to my imagination has something to do with mountaineeringlike biggirl professional womans basketball player sex.

    Oh.

Scaling fish is something else entirely, and if a woman has to not just shave her legs before going out on the town, but scale her "fies", then congratulations on hiding a pretty weird mutation until some dude puts a ring on her finger.

But then as far as bean stalks are concerned, I'm wonder where skaling fo and skaling fum are?

Probably the same reason you keep reading their posts and bitching about them.

I complain about the show because the last two episodes suck.

Plus it's the best sci-fi show on the air right now. Which is sad, but still, the action is normally a lot of fun, and I have a small crush on Hal.

I read the write up tease for the season finale. All I can say is oh god...

    Season Finale: "Brazil" – Sunday, August 4, at 10 p.m. (ET/PT)
When the 2nd mass destroys a crucial Espheni base, a relentless enemy is taken down and the Mason family is reunited with those who had been lost. But the arrival of more interstellar players puts the fate of the Earth's remaining survivors in doubt. Robert Sean Leonard guest stars.

    :guffaw:

It worked for them once, it will work for them again!

I'm really hoping that means reinforcements show up or something. We don't need another alien race.

As I recall, the producers were saying that this whole story wasn't going to be about humans vs aliens, but rather humans caught in the middle of aliens vs aliens vs aliens from before the series began.

Not sure why the board is giving this show so much flak though.

Falling Skies is pop sci-fi for the masses (with decent ratings to reflect that as well)

Enjoy it for what it is, don't get bogged down in hating it for what it isn't. lol
