Nice! Maybe it's the 100th-anniversary episode that the fourth Doctor scene in My Enemy My Ally comes from.
According to Moffat, the Anniversary special was budgeted for 2-D and one hour. We know the episode will be in 3-D, and according to Moffat it will be "feature length." I'm curious how visible the episode's budget will be.
Didn't the 3D cinema trailer for Series 5 cost in the area of a million quid to make? We'll be lucky if the 50th is 90 seconds in that case.
"On the budget for 2D" is a bit misleading-- they got separate funding from the BBC's now-shuttered 3D department to cover the costs of filming in the format. I guess he means there was no extra money for the rest of the production because of the move to 3D, but then there's no reason there should have been. If it was budgeted for an hour, there's an upper limit on how realistically "feature-length" it could be. I'm still betting on something between 70 and 75 minutes.
