    .....brainfart.

Can't show you my less-than-unorthodox set ups until I remember how to post pictures.

Have a Defiant and a Galaxy Retro with fairly standard gear. Tetryon DHCs and Turrets on the Defiant, Phaser Arrays on the Gal.

Fleet D7 with disruptor DHCs and Plasma torps with the Romulan set. Only wait to 'authentically' run my KDF Romulan.

How do you folks feel about the Quad Phaser Cannon? It seems to me like my Purple Mark XII duals are surely better, and I should be able to upgrade my Purple Mark XI before long, making the Quad a waste; but not everybody seems to agree on this.

If they'd switched out the unique setting so we could load multiple copies of the Quads, it would look amazing. But to do one sec, and then use DHCs for the rest of the slots it kind of kills the mode.

I've got a question regarding the Regent's Wide Angle Quantum Torpedo. Does it work with Torpedo: High Yield and Torpedo: Spread Volley? Specifically if I activate Torpedo: Spread Volley, does it spew torpedoes at all ships in a 180 degree arc?

    Yes, it does. :)

It's like a standard blue quality torp, only that it works with the wider arc. I think it is supposed to be fired from that torpedo turret we saw in FC, except the animation doesn't match.

Yes it does. Very effective with clusters of small to medium sized enemies in fleet missions.

Damn; now I have to go spend another $25 in P2W money on the USS Banhammer. By the time I'm done I'll have more money in that ship than my LTS cost. :)

And in other news, Tholian Lockboxes will stop dropping on 20 September. Exchange prices on the Orb Weaver and Recluse Carrier have already jumped 10 million ec since the announcement.

    So timeship on 21 September?

That would be my guess, too:)
This would also mean that KDF will finally get a new ship,
but I think the complaint on the forums will be that it is not a C-store ship.

I wonder if we ever see a new KDF ship in the C-store:confused:Considering that the Feds have gotten at least three new ones in a fairly short period of time (nothing against the FED ships, though..)

KDF ships don't sell well enough for them to put the effort in. Dan said as much.

Tholian Ship prices rising? Yay!!! (Checks if Orb Weaver Box is still in Bank)
