Isn't the next movie in the line up Captain America 2? If so, I bet the end credits scene will set that movie up in a way.

maybe something happened him in the movie, Simonson chopped his head off in the comics and JMS feminized Loki, making his spirit posses the body of a woman

I didn't read the whole review, just saw the rating, but Empire gave it 4 stars. I have my tickets booked, my cinema is showing Thor followed by a midnight showing of Thor: The Dark World.

Hmm, pretty much sounds like if you enjoyed the first movie, you'll enjoy this one. Although I do share that one reviewer's growing boredom with all the Evil, Life-Destroying Energy Weapons at the end of superhero movies.

I'll be forever grateful if I never have to see another energy beam shooting into the sky with the goal of either opening a portal, destroying all human life, or turning everyone into lizards and mutants. Lol

This and other episodes from the 1966 Thor cartoon are on youtube. I recently rediscovered them. Sorry but none of the episodes feature Malekith.

So "World premiere" is tomorrow.. How many will see it? I know I will.

Will there be new thread for discussion after release?

Just a few hours now before Thor starts, and then Thor: The Dark World straight afterwards. So excited!

I found out there is a preview screening in a few hours. Thinking of seeing either tomorrow, or sometime during the weekend.

Short review because I don't have much time:

Pretty good. Liked the action and the visuals, villain was very thin (menacing, but thin).

Is clip at the end of credits worth the wait? Because Avengers or Iron man 3 clip really wasnt.

    I assume that
    Guardians
clip is at the middle of credits like has been rumoured?

Will be seeing movie in about 5 hours, so answers before that please :D

To answer your spoiler question - yes.

As for the other one, it's not anything major, but it's not completely pointless either. If you've watched all the other clips at the ends of the other movies I don't see why you wouldn't wait for this one.

It ties back in with the film, so it's not completely unrelated.

Ok, thanks. Will definately see first scene, but have to think about that second one.

I waited for IM3 scene and was disappointed. Didnt wait for Avengers shawarma scene and watched it on bluray. And didnt feel like I missed anything.

It's definitely more tied into the film than either of those two scenes.
