Very cool. They've also had Levar Burton on the show. Maybe they can get the rest of the cast at some point? Most of the TNG actors have done voice-overs for Family Guy, but I imagine a voice-over is easier to get than an actual walk-on.
I wish they'd invite Nimoy and/or Shatner. Meeting either or both of them would make Sheldon shat his pants V.
They should get Gerrold to write an episode of Big Bang Theory. I'm guessing he could really write some good stuff for that set of characters.
Leonard Nimoy already made an off-camera appearance at Penny's Cheesecake Factory. She got him to sign a napkin for Sheldon. He flipped-out, ninja style.
Family Guy, for all its flaws, already got the entire cast in one episode. (Even Wil Wheaton and Denise Crosby :P )
When Sheldon went all nuts at having a napkin signed and DNA marked by Leonard Nimoy, it was so hilarious. Having Nimoy do a walk-on and totally overwhelm Sheldon at some unsuspecting/unanticipated moment would be so terrific. I know Nimoy has "retired", but doing a walk-on would be so easy, so low stress... and you'd think he'd get a kick out of it. He's already aware of Big Bang Theory's nod to him.
I hope Sheldon and Whil become mortal enemies again. Whil does have some great comic timing and would great as Sheldon's "Sideshow Bob." Without the killing, just the out witting.
